This week we noticed that around the farm wholesale may be slowing down but we have beaucoup variety for the markets this week. We are seeing the reappearance of bok choy and radishes! Red Mustard, Mache and Arugula are flourishing, there is even some Roquette in bloom! We have some cone shape cabbages for market goers. Recently (this morning) we discovered a large row of Mammoth Dill ready for harvest. Salad ideas are abundant at the farm, adding cabbage to Red Mustard, Red Romaine, and Mache is a fun way to catch up around the lunch table. Today we are eating Merisha’s Kale Converter (it converts non believers to the kale side!)
1 Bunch of bruised and de-boned Dino Kale
1/4 Cup Raisins- of any color
1/4 Cup Chopped Peacans
2 Tablespoons of chopped Ginger
Dress with golden balsamic vinegar and olive oil!
Prepare to convert!
